Privacy

JustCall is designed to make starting a call simple while collecting as little information as possible. This page describes the behavior of the current product implementation in plain language.

What JustCall needs to work

When you start a call, the browser asks for camera and microphone access. That permission is handled by your browser and device. JustCall also uses a signaling connection to help browsers find each other and establish a call.

Media is intended to flow directly between participants whenever the network allows it. On restrictive networks, a TURN relay may be used to carry encrypted media so the call can still connect.

What JustCall stores

JustCall does not ask you to create an account before using the core calling flow. The app does not include chat history, contact lists, or built-in call recordings in this client.

Analytics and cookies

This app can be configured to use Amplitude analytics. If analytics is enabled for the deployed environment, page views and interaction events may be collected to understand product usage and improve the experience.

If analytics is not configured for the environment, those events are not sent. The code checks for an analytics API key before initializing analytics.

The simple version

The product is built to keep the path to a conversation short: minimal setup, minimal stored state, and clear disclosure where the implementation depends on cookies, signaling, or analytics.
