iOS App Support
Need help with Just Call: Private Video Chat for iPhone? Start with the answers below. If they don’t solve it, send a message through the support form and I’ll get back to you.
Getting started
Tap Start Call to create a private call link, then share it or show its QR code. The other person can join from the Just Call app or from any web browser, with no account or install needed.
After you’ve been on a call with someone who also uses the app, they appear in your recent contacts, and you can ring them directly next time.
The app requires iOS 16 or later.
Common issues
The other person can’t see or hear me. Open Settings → Just Call and make sure Camera and Microphone are turned on, then rejoin the call.
The call doesn’t connect. Check that both devices are online. Some workplace, school, or public Wi‑Fi networks block real-time calls; try switching to mobile data or another network.
Incoming calls don’t ring. Incoming calls only work between people who have already been on a call together in the app. Make sure a Focus or Do Not Disturb mode isn’t silencing calls, and that you’re running the latest version of the app.
I don’t get missed-call notifications. Allow notifications in Settings → Just Call → Notifications.
Privacy and your data
Audio and video travel directly between devices whenever the network allows. On restrictive networks, an encrypted relay keeps the call connected. Calls are never recorded.
There’s no account. Your name and photo are shared only with the people you call. Chat history stays on your device and is deleted after 24 hours. To ring you, the app registers an anonymous device ID and push token with our server.
To have that registration deleted, contact support. Read the full privacy policy.
